Description
Job Title: Data Scientist
Job Summary:
The Data Scientist will support IT Governance by working with business units to gather, analyze, and interpret data. The role involves developing data insights, managing data quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and manage data science projects.
Conduct exploratory data analysis and resolve data inconsistencies.
Ensure data quality and compliance with privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR).
Develop and manage data access policies based on user roles.
Provide training on data governance best practices to promote accountability.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in data analysis, data management, and SQL/PL-SQL.
Experience with data governance tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to analyze datasets, maintain confidentiality, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or data quality.
Familiarity with privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR).
Preferable to have prior experience in Public Sector (Government agency)
