Well-established law firm dedicated to achieving justice for its clients in personal injury and employment law matters seeks an entry-level litigation attorney to join their team. This litigation attorney will join a team with a proven track record of success in securing significant compensation for those who have been wronged. The Opportunity

The firm is seeking a passionate and motivated attorney with 1+ years of experience to join their litigation team. You will play a vital role in representing plaintiffs in personal injury and employment law cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented attorney to gain experience in all aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation investigation to trial.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client interviews and develop case strategies.

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of applicable laws and regulations.

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

  • Manage discovery process, including depositions and interrogatories.

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.

  • Prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

  • Maintain strong client communication and keep them informed of case progress.

  • Manage caseload efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments in personal injury and employment law.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

  • 1+ years of experience practicing plaintiff-side litigation, with a focus on personal injury and/or employment law (experience in other civil litigation areas may be considered).

  • Strong analytical and legal writing skills.

  • Excellent oral advocacy skills and courtroom experience a plus.

  • Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Compassionate and dedicated to advocating for the rights of injured individuals and employees.

  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Admission to practice law in the state of California and good standing with the bar.
