Robert Half Finance Recruiter in Los Angeles, California

Description We are in search of a dedicated F& A Recruiter to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Los Angeles, California. As an F& A Recruiter, you will be primarily responsible for managing all recruitment activities, maintaining and updating job descriptions, evaluating applicants, coordinating interviews, and ensuring accurate records of candidates. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all recruitment activities, including the promotion and driving of social media programs to maintain external enthusiasm

• Develop applicant sources through research, community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and internet sites

• Ensure accuracy of job requisitions for regular staff requests

• Evaluate applicant qualifications by pre-screening and interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements

• Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules and arranging interview locations

• Maintain, update, and record critical candidate information

• Oversee all pre-employment aspects such as background checks, references, health screenings, and educational verifications

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

• Assist with the upkeep of accurate records for all volunteers within the Agency

• Conduct focus groups and/or assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs Requirements • Prior experience in the non-profit sector is preferred

• Proven track record in recruiting for finance and accounting roles

• Expertise in campus recruiting is essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleges and universities

• Proficiency in using various recruiting tools and platforms

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required

• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
