Robert Half Financial Reporting Manager in Los Angeles, California

Description

We are searching for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role is essential in our finance department and is involved in financial reporting, balance sheet review, and month-end close procedures. This position is a contract role within a technology company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes

• Conduct balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations

• Oversee the review process and documentation for accurate records

• Manage month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reports

• Handle revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606 standards

• Utilize skills in Sales Tax, Balance Sheet Account, and Quarterly Taxes to enhance financial reporting processes.

Requirements

• Expertise in handling balance sheet accounts and ensuring their accuracy.

• Experience in performing balance sheet account reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations.

• Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.

• Strong communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.

• Proficiency in use of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.

• Proven experience as a Financial Reporting Manager or similar role.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

• High ethical standards and professionalism, as it relates to handling sensitive financial information.
