Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Enrollment Specialist in the non-profit industry, located in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be providing vital support and assistance to individuals and families facing various challenges, and connecting them with appropriate resources and support services. This position requires you to assess the needs of these individuals, develop service plans, and guide them towards the necessary social services.
Responsibilities:
• Assessment of individuals' and families' needs through detailed interviews and case studies.
• Development of comprehensive service plans to address identified needs.
• Connection of clients with appropriate resources and support services within the community.
• Regular follow-ups with clients to ensure the effectiveness of the service plans and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with other social service providers and organizations to further support the clients.
• Address issues such as child welfare, substance abuse, domestic violence, mental health, and poverty.
• Utilize Fund Accounting - Non-Profit and Administrative skills to maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ensure clients' confidentiality and respect their rights.
• Advocate for clients when necessary to ensure their access to services.
• Continuously stay updated on available resources and services in the community. Requirements
• Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably within the non-profit sector
• Proficient in using various software programs including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders and potential enrollees
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles would be advantageous
• Ability to understand and communicate complex enrollment processes and procedures clearly
