Description
Grants Accountant to be the first point of contact to their accounting department. Accounting background but with good customer service skills.
Responsibilities - Experience accounting detail oriented in the healthcare industry - Specifically experienced in grants management, FQHC, community health centers, Medicaid - Communicate with financial leaders at their partnered groups and be able to articulate - Understanding and/or experience with Title X and its regulations, big plus - Support and oversee accounting and financial operations as needed, such as budgeting and reporting - Experience with federal and foundation funds, Medicaid programs, state funds, federal funds, government funding and contracts, supplemental funding - Oversee/review payroll, benefits planning and open enrollment - Ability to communicate very well and be very hands on and flexible to jump in where support is needed - Put together applications for Title X programs - 392 clinics, 69 contracts, up to 30 grants - Systems: Excel, Sage Intacct, ADP
