Robert Half HR Generalist in Los Angeles, California
Description
We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist with a strong focus on payroll. The role is based in Los Angeles, California, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The HR Generalist will be responsible for maintaining HR and payroll processes, handling employee inquiries, and assisting with HR initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity in the HRIS system
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies
• Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews
• Support HR initiatives and projects such as employee engagement, performance management, and compliance training
• Coordinate with external vendors for benefits administration and other HR-related services
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
• Prepare and distribute various HR reports as needed
• Assist with other HR duties as required.
Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is required
• Must have familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Knowledge of Ceridian and HRMS systems is essential
• Previous experience with About Time software is a plus
• Applicants should have a strong background in Benefit Functions
• Proficiency in Compensation Administration is required
• Must have a solid understanding of Compliance regulations and procedures
• Strong skills in Employee Relations are necessary
• Experience with ADP - Payroll is a plus
• Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask is required
• Must have the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required
• Previous experience in a similar HR Generalist role is preferred.
