Robert Half International Human Resource Generalist- MUST HAVE ADP EXP in Los Angeles, California

Description

A local non-profit is in need of a Human Resource Generalist with ADP experience. This position requires 4+ years of Generalist and ADP experience. The Human Resources Generalist will oversees the HR Databases and serves as the subject-matter expert on technical workflows, data processing and other types of records management (both electronic and paper-based). The Generalist is responsible for efficient and accurate data collection and maintenance; maintains the classification and compensation systems; generates regular and special reports regarding compensation and other human resource related information; recommends changes in HRIS methods or procedures to increase efficiency; and supervises staff. The Generalist role is key in implementing HR strategic initiatives, goals and objectives tied to data, technology and compliance. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to communicate well with all levels and to interact professionally and effectively with the community at large. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, technical planning, and organizational skills. Demonstrated sound judgment, detail orientation, and analytical ability. Excellent computer skills.

Requirements

Solid working knowledge of human resources principles, management and leadership principles, and training methodologies. Basic knowledge or direct experience in relational database applications and/or database design. Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles and practices. Sound knowledge of documentation procedures. Some experience with Web programming. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 4+ years of ADP experience.

Bachelor’s degree required or combined experience/education as substitute for education.

PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
