Description We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The HR Assistant will provide training in supportive living skills to adults with developmental disabilities and will be responsible for documenting progress notes, reports, and evaluations. The HR Assistant will also assist clients with a range of tasks including budgeting, household management, employment, health management, housing, parenting, and self-advocacy.
Responsibilities:
• Provide training in supportive living skills to adults with developmental disabilities
• Document daily progress notes, quarterly reports, annual reports, agency evaluation reports, and special incident reports
• Assist clients with budgeting, household management, employment, health management, housing, parenting, and self-advocacy
• Work directly with families involved with various departments such as children and family services, family court, probation, parole, and the department of mental health
• Perform Administrative Office duties, Receptionist Duties, and Data Entry as required
• Communicate effectively in Spanish when necessary Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.
