Prominent boutique law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their team. This Litigation Associate will be handling cases from inception to trial, focusing on contract disputes and damages within the realms of Construction, Real Estate and Business Litigation. This role involves active involvement in case management, document management, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee cases from inception to trial or arbitration.

• Draft and prepare motions and briefs with precision and accuracy.

• Conduct and defend depositions, ensuring all information gathered is pertinent and valuable.

• Handle court appearances, representing the company in a professional and competent manner.

• Prepare and attend trials, advocating for the best outcomes for the clients.

• Operate Case Management Software proficiently for efficient case handling.

• Specialize in areas of Construction, Real Estate, and Business Litigation.

• Utilize skills in Briefing and Civil Litigation to manage complex commercial litigations.

• Work towards potential partnership within the firm.

• Ensure stability and consistency in all work processes and outcomes.

Requirements

• Must have a degree in Law from an accredited institution.

• Must have an active CA bar license.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney or lawyer, preferably in civil litigation and complex commercial litigation.

• Proficiency in using Case Management Software.

• Proven experience in briefing and conducting depositions.

• Demonstrated track record as a litigation attorney.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Proficient in legal research and writing.

• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
