Description
Robert Half is seeking an experienced Mailroom Clerk for one of our clients in Columbus, IN. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various duties that are integral to the smooth operation of the office.
Job Responsibilities:
Efficiently print labels for outgoing packages and deliveries.
Properly log into FedEx and UPS databases for efficient and accurate handling of parcels.
Drive to various locations as required to pick up and deliver mail and packages promptly.
Ensure all mail and packages are correctly sorted and delivered to appropriate personnel or departments.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, interact with staff and clients professionally.
Exhibit top-tier customer service skills both within the team and when interacting with external parties.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mailroom Clerk or similar position, demonstrating a solid understanding of mailroom procedures and functions.
Ability to operate standard mailroom equipment and online postage systems.
Valid driver's license for picking up and delivering mail.
Strong communication and customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Able to lift 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
