Network Systems Administrator
ONSITE in Downtown Los Angeles
$100K - $120K + 100% benefits for employee and dependent, retirement with matching.
We are a reputable non-profit organization located in Downtown Los Angeles and we are seeking highly experienced Network Systems Administrator with a minimum of 7 years working experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
The Network Systems Administrator will be involved in the maintenance, configuration, and operation of computer network systems, servers and desktop infrastructure, including both hard and soft components. The candidate will work as part of our IT team. The successful candidate will be expected to proactively identify, prioritize and address system issues, ensure optimal system performance, security and availability. Moreover, the individual will play an integral role in implementing and maintaining our cybersecurity strategies and technologies.
Requirements
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years experience in network and systems administration
Deep understanding of storage (SAN)
Experience with VMware ESXi server, VMware vCenter server.
Experience in VOIP technology
Proficiency in Firewall (Sonicwall, Fortinet Fortigate, Barracuda)
Experience in Cybersecurity (Tenable io vulnerability scanner; Sophos security suites)
Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory
Understanding of Cisco routing and switching protocols
Certifications preferred include Security+, MCSA, MCP, NIOP, etc. It is important that the individual has a 'can-do' attitude and enthusiasm towards problem-solving.
