Robert Half Office Assistant in Los Angeles, California

Description

Our client, an exciting public relations firm located in Hollywood, is looking for an Office Administrator on a contract to hire basis. As the Office Administrator, you will be responsible for acting as the receptionist and providing front desk coverage, welcoming visitors and employees, providing parking validations, planning team building events, ordering office and kitchen supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of the office. Additional duties will include managing the mail and packages, working closely with vendors and building management, expense reports for office executives, and assisting with onboarding for new hires.

Robert Half is looking for an individual with at least 1 year of office administration experience. The ability to multi-task and problem solve is a must in this role! Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. This position pays $46k-$50k. Hours are 8:30 am – 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8:30am – 4:00pm on Fridays. Requirements

• Candidate must possess basic office skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email and internet usage, and ability to operate standard office equipment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for interacting with team members and clients.

• Excellent organizational abilities are necessary for managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.

• The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is vital.

• The candidate should have good customer service skills for interacting with clients and team members.

• Proactive attitude towards improving processes and finding solutions is required.
