Our client, a well-known employer in the Mid-Wilshire area is looking to hire and Administrative Assistant to support their Pension department. This job will require you to run reports, deal with external and internal customers and perform complex data entry. You will set up meetings with internal and external customers and review applications for completeness. Additionally you will set up and review electronic fund transfers and review reports. You will prepare documents for scanning and prepare 1099 reports. This is an onsite position that requires vaccination and booster. This firm has excellent benefits including a pension program.

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Support a variety of projects for other employees

  • Respond to phone inquiries

  • Navigate through word processing, filing, and faxing

  • Receive and tend to visitors

    Requirements - Accomplished computer skills are a must. This includes word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

  • Skills in internet research

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

  • Solid understanding of pension administration

  • Pensions experience

  • Pension plans experience required

  • Defined Benefit Pension Plan experience

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred
