Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in Los Angeles, California. This role is centered around providing exceptional service within a busy, dynamic environment. The Receptionist will be pivotal in managing external communications, handling sensitive information, and ensuring smooth operation of office activities.

Responsibilities

• Answering and directing calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring effective communication within and outside the organization.

• Managing deliveries and sorting mail to maintain organized and efficient office operations.

• Maintaining updated phone lists for quick and easy reference.

• Handling additional projects as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.

• Safeguarding sensitive and confidential documents, exhibiting discretion and trustworthiness.

• Communicating effectively with managers and clients regarding job or deadline issues, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Utilizing previous experience in reception or administrative roles to enhance office operations and customer service.

• Implementing knowledge of banking operations as necessary, depending on the nature of the tasks.

• Using excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.

• Managing switchboard operations, demonstrating proficiency in multi-line phone systems. Requirements • Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems and carrying out switchboard operations effectively.

• Ability to answer and transfer calls professionally and efficiently.

• Demonstrated skills in handling receptionist duties including greeting visitors and providing information as needed.

• Experience in sorting incoming mail and managing deliveries.

• Excellent written communication skills for drafting correspondence and other office communications.

• Strong organizational skills to manage confidential documents securely and maintain records.

• Familiarity with banking operations for managing petty cash and other transactions.

• Proven experience in hiring processes including scheduling interviews and coordinating with hiring managers.

• Exceptional phone presence to deal with inquiries and direct calls as necessary.

• Working knowledge of perks and benefits administration to provide information to employees and potential recruits.

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and other common office software.
