Robert Half International Remote Customer Service Representative in Los Angeles, California
Description
A growing apparel company located in West Los Angeles is looking for a remote Customer Service Representative to start immediately. Job duties will include phone, email, and chat customer service. The clothing company uses Shopify and Netsuite. The customer service representative role is open because the company is very busy and growing. This is a long term temporary position that could possibly go full time for the right candidate. OfficeTeam is looking for a candidate with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the fashion industry or a degree from FIDM is preferred! Previous customer service and retail experience is highly preferred. Hours for the role are 9am-6pm and pay is $19/hour during the temporary period. If the candidate is a great fit, they may consider a full time offer down the road. The salary once full time is $20-$25/hour. This is a fully remote position (even after COVID) and you can sit anywhere in the US.
Key responsibilities
May support business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers
Offer friendly, accurate customer service in a timely fashion
Handle incoming telephone calls
Field and send written business correspondence
Requirements
Data entry experience highly desired
Customer service experience
Demonstrated knowledge of navigating basic office equipment and protocols
Adeptness in Typing Data Entry
Expertise in CRM
Foundational knowledge in call centers
Comprehensive knowledge of Call Center Customer Service
Strong computer skills including customer database systems
Microsoft Office experience preferred
Enthusiastic attitude and an engaging businesslike approach
Experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries
2+ years' experience with performing in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred
Comfort and confidence when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong customer service and office administrative skills
