Description Robert Half is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Accountant in the Downtown LA area. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position offers you great long-term potential and a strong compensation and benefits package. Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents. Analyze financial reports and forecasts. Perform monthly financial analysis. Monitor and document internal controls. Coordinate with the external auditor for regular audits. Oversee the processing of payroll and accounts payable. Review and update the company’s accounting policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and company policies. Requirements Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification would be considered an asset. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Solid communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
