Description

Successful defense firm is seeking a motivated Senior Assoicate Attorney to join their team in Los Angeles, California. The selected Senior Associate Attorney will manage complex litigation cases from start to finish, including discovery, court appearances, writing briefs, and depositions. This role requires someone who is able to hit the ground running and handle multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.

This firm is offering the Senior Associate Attorney above market compensation + lucrative bonus, remote flexibility, work/life balance and autonomy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex litigation cases from A-Z

• Conduct discovery, court appearances, write briefs, and handle depositions

• Effectively handle civil litigation cases, with additional focus on soft IP, business disputes, securities, and some real estate

• Ensure smooth case management using relevant software

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

• Process and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action where necessary

• Contribute to the team's growth by winning significant settlements

• Work autonomously on high-end complex matters

• Maintain a flexible work schedule, with the understanding that trials are optional

Requirements

• Candidate must hold a valid license to practice law in California.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, particularly in civil litigation and claim administration.

• Demonstrable experience in briefing and handling complex business litigation cases.

• Proficiency in handling complaints and providing appropriate resolutions.

• Must have experience in the field of consumer electronics.

• Must be able to effectively represent clients in federal court.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Proven track record of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
