We are offering an exciting opportunity in Los Angeles, California, for a Sr. Accountant to join our business management team. This role is centered within a CPA firm, where you will handle the general accounting and business management tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation regularly to ensure accuracy in financial reports

• Execute bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity and stability

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and DataFaction/AgilLink to process business transactions

• Generate journal entries and perform month-end close procedures

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Manage business operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Applicant must possess at least 3 years of detail oriented experience as a Sr. Accountant or in business management firm

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a critical requirement for this job role.

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• The candidate should have substantial experience in managing the General Ledger.

• Proficiency in Journal Entries is required.

• The applicant should have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in Month End Close processes is a must.

• Knowledge and experience in QuickBooks and DataFaction/AgilLink are crucial for this role.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting strongly preferred.
