Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity in the Financial Services industry, specifically for a Sr. Auditor role based in Los Angeles, California. The selected candidate will be involved in auditing processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, focusing on ensuring the company's financial operations are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting audits in accordance with the Financial Institutions Examination Council's (FDCIA) standards

• Utilizing software tools such as Archer for audit planning and execution

• Conducting fiduciary, operational and regulatory audits

• Evaluating application controls and documenting audit findings

• Ensuring compliance with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley and FDICIA regulations

• Performing control testing and providing recommendations for improvements

• Utilizing audit programs to ensure all processes are reviewed and validated

• Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure accurate documentation and reporting

• Prioritizing and managing multiple audits and projects concurrently

• Keeping up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the company's compliance.

Requirements

• Must have 4+ years of experience in an auditing role within the financial services industry

• Proficiency in using Archer and Audit Program is required

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance (CCAR, Basel, CECL, etc)

• Ability to handle Application Controls, Audit Findings, Auditing, Compliance, and Documentation tasks

• Experience in Audit - Financial, FDICIA, SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley, and Control Testing

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must have a high level of integrity and ethics

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different levels of management.

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
