Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Los Angeles, California. This role revolves around the financial industry and will involve a hybrid of remote and on-site work. The primary focus will be on reporting in Great Plains and managing various aspects of financial operations.
Responsibilities
• Expertly manage reporting in Great Plains, ensuring timely and accurate report generation for staff and board purposes.
• Oversee the addition of fund numbers for new grants and position numbers for new staff roles, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
• Utilize skills in Business Systems and CRM for efficient and effective operations.
• Leverage knowledge of Data Mining Techniques to extract valuable insights from raw data.
• Utilize Microsoft Great Plains Accounting and Great Plains (GPAC) for financial reporting and management.
• Implement and maintain accounting functions, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial data.
• Oversee budget processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial health.
• Utilize knowledge of Capital Management to manage organization's capital effectively.
• Prepare for the transition to a new accounting system, assisting in the implementation process and potentially taking on additional responsibilities post-implementation. Requirements • Proficient knowledge of business systems and their applications in the financial sector
• Experience with Confluence for team collaboration and project management
• Understanding of CRM systems for managing company's interactions with current and potential clients
• Proficient in Crystal Reports for business reporting and analysis
• Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques for analyzing patterns in large data sets
• Experience with 'About Time' software for mobile time and attendance
• Solid understanding of accounting functions and their applications in financial analysis
• Proficiency in auditing and ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines
• Experience with budget processes, planning and development
• Knowledge of capital management strategies and techniques
• Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software for managing company's accounts
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics for managing business operations
• Understanding of Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting and finance management.
