Robert Half Sr. Manager, Benefits Specialist in Los Angeles, California

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist within the manufacturing industry. Based in Los Angeles, California, this role involves coordinating employee compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and managing data reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an effective compensation and benefits strategy

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to employee benefits and compensation

• Manage all aspects of 401k - RRSP Administration

• Conduct data reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes

• Liaise with third-party vendors for benefits administration

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in regulations

• Communicate with employees about compensation and benefits packages

• Resolve any issues related to compensation and benefits

• Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure a cohesive approach to employee compensation and benefits. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Compensation & Benefits Specialist role or similar within the Manufacturing industry.

• Proven skills in Compliance and Benefits Administration.

• Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration is a must.

• Demonstrable proficiency in Data Reporting.

• A strong understanding of compensation and benefits policies and procedures.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding compensation and benefits.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., CCP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
