Description
We are actively searching for a Trial Litigation Paralegal to support our law firm client. This role is located in Century City, California, with a focus on supporting trial preparation in a small law firm setting. The role offers an onsite contract opportunity and will require the use of various skills to prepare this large civil case for trial.
Responsibilities:
• Offer support for sophisticated civil litigation trials
• Prepare for trials by creating exhibit notebooks and witness notebooks
• Develop audio/visual presentations for trials
• Review deposition testimonies and provide summaries
• Handle briefing and calendar management tasks
• Manage trial notebooks and exhibit lists efficiently
• Prepare trial exhibits and aids
• Oversee billing functions related to case management

Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trial Litigation Paralegal.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is required for document handling and editing.
• Experience with Case Management Software for effective organization and tracking of legal cases.
• Ability to handle Billing Functions, ensuring accurate recording and processing of legal fees.
• Skilled in Briefing, able to concisely summarize case information and key points.
• Experience in Calendar Management, scheduling and tracking court dates, meetings, and deadlines.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining Trial Notebooks, compiling essential case information.
• Ability to prepare Exhibit Lists, ensuring all relevant evidence is accounted for in the trial.
• Experience in preparing Trial Exhibits, presenting evidence in a clear and effective manner.
• Skilled in Trial Prep including Vis Aids, Models, and Mockups to present complex information in a visual and understandable manner.
• Proficiency in Deposition Summary, summarizing testimony for easy reference in trial preparation.
