Robert Half Workers Compensation Analyst in Los Angeles, California

Description Job Title: Workers Compensation Analyst Location: Los Angeles, California We are seeking a Workers Compensation Analyst for a contract-to-permanent opportunity in the Non-Profit sector. The successful candidate will manage various aspects of workers' compensation injuries and claims, maintain accurate records, and coordinate activities related to employee welfare. Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all activities related to workers' compensation injuries, including maintaining and updating claims files and records. Review and process on-the-job injury claims and reports, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on handling work-related injuries and general inquiries. Assist employees in accessing medical care through designated workers' compensation clinics and facilities. Advise employees and their dependents on eligibility for workers' compensation benefits according to state laws and policies. Coordinate special investigations and medical examinations related to workers' compensation claims. Inform departments about procedures and reporting deadlines for work injuries. Facilitate and document the interactive process under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) for both industrial and non-industrial disabilities. Administer the Modified Duty Program in accordance with policy guidelines. Maintain records of division accounts and prepare payment requests for vendor invoices. Requirements • Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with Ceridian and Cisco Webex Meetings is required

• Familiarity with CRM systems

• Proven experience in auditing, benefit functions, and claim administration

• Knowledge of Cobra administration is essential

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with Workers Compensation

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies

• Knowledge of HR compliance is necessary

• Experience in a non-profit organization is advantageous

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required

• Relevant certification in Compensation and Benefits Management is preferred
