Robert Half International Worker's Compensation Specialist in Los Angeles, California
Robert Half Healthcare Practice has partnered with a hospital in the Hollywood area in search of a Worker's Compensation Specialist to support their Human Resources Department. The Worker's Compensation Specialist will report, maintain and monitor workers' compensation case files, including follow up on open cases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Worker's Compensation oversight as well as general LOA management skills.
This position will begin as a contract role with the possibility of growing into a full-time role internally with the organization. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 - 5 pm, onsite at their Hollywood location. We offer Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.
Strong communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of leave of absences
Strong familiarity with Disability Claims
Foundational knowledge in workers compensation & ability to walk through and explain all aspects of the process to internal employees
Approachable and appropriate interacting with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment
