Robert Half Sr. Customer Service Representative in Los Banos, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Customer Service Representative in the Manufacturing industry, located in Los Banos, California. As a crucial part of our team, you will be tasked with managing customer service issues, processing purchase orders, and using various systems to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve and input customer purchase orders received through various channels such as fax, email, web, or EDI daily.

• Review pricing on purchase orders to ensure accuracy.

• Communicate with sales team to address and resolve customer service issues.

• Liaise with customers to provide solutions to any service issues, keeping all team members updated on progress.

• Handle adjustments for credit memos and rebill invoices when necessary.

• Use Microsoft Office Suites and IBM AS/400 Management System for data entry and other tasks.

• Utilize CRM system to manage customer interactions and data.

• Ensure all orders are accurately entered into the ERP system to prevent shipping errors.

• Perform daily EDI invoicing and other billing functions.

• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by Supervisor. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in using CRM and IBM AS/400

• Knowledge and experience in handling Management Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel

• Experience with 'About Time' software

• Familiarity with Billing Functions and Cash Activity

• Experience in Claim Administration and Complaint Handling

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Experience handling Purchase Orders and Data Entry

• Ability to Code Invoices

• A strong understanding of the manufacturing process and customer service principles

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging customer situations

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
