Robert Half Project Manager in Los Ranchos, New Mexico

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the construction industry, based in Los Ranchos, New Mexico. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects, coordinating project plans, and utilizing their formal project management skills to ensure seamless execution of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all works are conducted in compliance with industry standards.

• Utilize Microsoft Project and MS Project to manage project plans, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary.

• Employ formal project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Manage project risks proactively, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.

• Coordinate various project tasks, ensuring all team members are clear on their responsibilities and deadlines.

• Utilize strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns promptly.

• Maintain high levels of organizational skills to ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

• Leverage project management certification knowledge to implement best practices within the team.

• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and address any arising issues.

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Project Management role

• Proven experience in managing construction projects

• Demonstrated ability in formal project management

• Proficiency in managing project plans and risks

• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Project and MS Project tools

• Skills in project coordination and management

• Must hold a Project Management Certification

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Familiarity with industry best practices and standards

• Strong interpersonal skills for managing project teams and stakeholders.
