Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in Louisville, Colorado

Description Robert Half is looking for a Help Desk Analyst to support local and field users in a growing company. To be successful in this Help Desk Analyst role, you should be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Due to this Help Desk Analyst role having a large amount of visibility within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. This Help Desk Analyst role is located in the Louisville, Colorado area and is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity.

Key responsibilities

  • Spot recurring technical issues and deploy solutions to address the root of the problems

  • Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

  • Offer IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally

  • Help and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups Requirements - 1+ years of prior experience

  • Experience with IT support ticketing systems

  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts

  • Proven experience in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

  • Experience with Web Servers

  • Solid understanding of Network Operating System

  • Deep understanding of Windows Desktop Operating System

  • General familiarity with PC skills

  • Quality experience with switches

  • Comprehension of Chromebook

  • Ethernet experience

  • Hands-on experience with Spare Parts

  • Wide ranging experience with Apple OS

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows

  • Earlier work involving Mac OS

  • Proficiency in internet

  • Proven knowledge of Apple Macintosh

  • Solid understanding of Desktop Operating System

  • Wi-Fi experience

  • Data warehousing experience desired

  • Skills in Chromebook

  • Previous experience working with Laptop Hardware

  • Prior experience with Computer Keyboard

  • Practical knowledge of PC Hardware

  • Experience with Diagnose Problems

  • Expertise in Operating System Deployment

  • Well-founded grasp of Macintosh computers

  • User administration and bug fixing in a client-server environment
