My client in Boulder is seeking a Property Accountant to join their stable and tenured accounting team in Boulder. As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of a diverse property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting, CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliation, and hands-on experience with real estate ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or a similar.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities for a portfolio of properties.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to real estate operations.

• Perform detailed CAM reconciliations, including the analysis of expenses and preparation of reconciliation statements.

• Work closely with property managers and vendors to resolve discrepancies.

• Generate and analyze financial reports for property performance.

• Provide insights into financial trends and variances.

• Utilize real estate ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar for efficient and accurate financial management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate accounting.

• Experience with CAM reconciliation processes.

• Proficiency in real estate ERP systems (Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar).

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus, but relevant experience will be considered.

Skills and Attributes:

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
