Robert Half Accounting Manager in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky

This Accounting Manager role's duties will require taking charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. How you will make an impact

  • Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines

  • Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

  • Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

  • Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

  • Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses Requirements - Command of People Management

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience

  • Recent relevant financial experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

  • Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Proven technical skills

  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

  • Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
