Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky
Description We are seeking a meticulous Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for general accounting functions, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries. You will also play a key role in the month-end close process, financial statement reviews, and earnings updates. This role will require proficiency in accounting software systems like SAP and MS Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee general accounting functions including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Manage the month-end close process and review financial statements.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth close process.
• Provide updates on earnings during the last three days of close.
• Utilize SAP and MS Excel to streamline accounting tasks and processes.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments.
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions for efficient operation.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Conduct auditing and billing functions as necessary. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must
• Experience with ERP Solutions is necessary
• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) is required
• Must have experience with various accounting functions
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Experience in Auditing is required
• Must have experience with Billing Functions.
