Description Robert Half seeks an enterprising, strong Accounting Manager for an immediate opening at a growing, dynamic company. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Preferably, you should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. How you will make an impact
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met
Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies
Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials Requirements - Strong familiarity with cost accounting
Month end closings experience
Financial reporting experience
Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
CPA or MBA preferred
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
