Job Description: We are in search of a highly diligent, knowledgeable, and reliable Accounting Specialist to be part of our finance department. The individual will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting, auditing, and financial tasks. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions.
Responsibilities:
Preparing comprehensive financial status reports and ensuring timely completion of reports.
Handling complex and high-volume tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Analyzing financial records for accuracy.
Assisting with financial and tax audits.
Developing, implementing, modifying, and documenting recordkeeping and accounting systems.
Reconciling account balances and bank statements.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Strong knowledge of tax codes and regulations.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
