Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky
Description Robert Half is seeking a long-term contract / temporary to hire Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a rapidly growing team at a dynamic company. Matching, batching, and coding invoices, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. You will be working alongside a strong staff of hard working individuals who have a team minded approach. Located in Louisville, Kentucky, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening.
Your responsibilities
Provide support to internal business partners
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Provide support during internal and external audits
Carry out additional projects as required
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Implement full-cycle A/P
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Excel Formulas experience
Strong familiarity with numeric data entry
Data entry experience required
Purchase Orders experience preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
