Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky

Description

Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and highly proficient Accounts Payable Clerk to manage the full-cycle accounts payable process.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be tasked with the efficient management of financial processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, expense report handling, and reconciliation tasks. This is a project-based assignment where tasks and functions may differ based on the project assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, sort, and manage a high volume of invoices and ensure appropriate general ledger coding

  • Adjusting expenses and increasing precision across the board

  • Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements

  • Manage vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements

  • Successfully achieve targets within fixed deadlines

  • Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports

  • Process employee expense reports while ensuring compliance with company policies

  • Continuously improve payment process

  • Other project-based tasks as assigned.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the finance/accounting field, preferably in accounts payable

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

  • Knowledge of an accounting software is a must

  • High accuracy and meticulousness

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
