Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our team in the Manufacturing sector based in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves processing a high volume of invoices, handling credit card invoices, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage a large volume of invoices efficiently
• Handle credit card invoices with strong attention to detail
• Add Purchase Order numbers to invoices and ensure their accurate processing
• Maintain and update accounts payable records regularly
• Resolve any customer inquiries related to accounts payable
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required
• Utilize MS Excel for data management and report generation
• Ensure accurate entry of invoice details into the system
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support various tasks
• Use Accounts Payable (AP) skills to enhance efficiency and accuracy of work. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Strong skills in MS Excel
• Experience handling Credit Card Receipts
• Demonstrable understanding of basic accounting principles
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve payment discrepancies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
