Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated bookkeeper to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate is someone with proficient understanding of financial record-keeping, who will be able to efficiently manage our financial data and help us analyze our performance and plan the best ways to grow.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.

  • Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

  • Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience.

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.

  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

  • Data entry skills with high level of proficiency in MS Office Suite and particularly in Excel.

  • Strong analytical skills and thoroughness.

  • Experience with accounting software.

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
