Robert Half Bookkeeper in Louisville, Kentucky
Description We are in search of a proficient Bookkeeper to be part of our team based in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. The Bookkeeper will be tasked with the management of client accounts, handling invoice uploads, and processing light Accounts Payable. This role will not involve processing tax returns or preparing taxes but will require the input of all tax documents. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Manage existing client accounts ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Upload invoices as part of the account management process
• Handle light Accounts Payable tasks, ensuring all payments are processed correctly
• Assist in entering all tax documents into the system for easy access and reference
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling client information
• Pay strong attention to detail to ensure all tasks are performed accurately
• Utilize Basic Bookkeeping and Bookkeeping skills to maintain accurate financial records
• Employ effective data entry skills in the input of tax documents and other relevant information. Requirements • Possess a minimum of one year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
• Proficient in basic bookkeeping skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in bookkeeping
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) is required
• Must have strong data entry skills
• Proficiency in using bookkeeping software and other related tools
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field would be advantageous.
