Description Robert Half has partnered with a growing company to recruit a stellar Bookkeeper for immediate hire. This Bookkeeper position requires the candidate to be proficient with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting. This short-term contract / temporary to hire position is a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper who wants to work in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
What you get to do every day
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Balance accounts by reconciling entries
Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
Preside over and review general ledger Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
Command of Donations
Prior experience using accounting software
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
