Description We are offering an opportunity for a Collections Specialist to join our team in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to customer credit management, including processing credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Reconcile and submit daily cash reports from the bank

• Apply ACH, Wire, and Check Deposit transactions to customer accounts to reflect payment

• Set up new customer accounts and maintain detailed records of all communication and collection efforts

• Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment issues

• Collaborate with other teams to establish payment plans or negotiate settlements when necessary

• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner

• Ensure operational integrity through compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations

• Research unapplied cash and credits, and reconcile balances with customer invoices or deductions.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Experience with Collection Processes

• Understanding of Credit

• Exceptional Customer Service skills

• Background in Collections Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks

• Experience using collection software is a plus

• Knowledge of legal and ethical collection techniques

• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
