OfficeTeam is seeking a Construction Administrator for a temporary to hire opportunity! The Construction Administrator's primary focus is to work with and support the Project Managers on various construction projects. The Construction Administrator needs to be able to work well under strict deadlines to make sure all contracts are followed.
Duties of the Construction Administrator:
Assist on all projects (set up of project in the database, labor codes, PO creation, permits, contracts, pay applications, etc.)
Monthly billings (prepare and send out)
Create job numbers and invoices
Collect all construction vendor invoices, sort and distribute for approval by Project Managers, and enter into job cost system
At the end of each month, post all billings in job cost system
Maintain all insurance certifications
Answer any phone calls for project managers and order office supplies

Minimum of 2 years of related administrative experience supporting project managers
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in the construction industry preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint)
Familiar with plumbing, HVAC, and boiler labor and material codes preferred
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and adjust to changing situations
Ability to take initiative, have high attention to detail, to prioritize and multi-task
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Work independently with limited supervision while still able to collaborate in team settings
