Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Louisville, Kentucky, for a Sales Assistant. This role primarily involves ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process, including verifying paperwork, assessing returned vehicles for potential damages, and maximizing sales opportunities. This position is based in a retail environment, requiring a combination of indoor and outdoor work, and will not involve driving or cleaning cars.
In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you'll play a key part in ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for every renter while maximizing sales opportunities.
What You'll Do:
Greet and assist customers with a warm and professional demeanor.
Process rental agreements efficiently and accurately.
Upsell additional services and products, such as car upgrades, insurance options, and GPS rentals.
Maintain a clean and organized rental counter area.
Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
Who You Are:
A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong customer service focus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum requirements may vary by location).
