Robert Half Finance Manager - 100% Remote in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky

Description

Robert Half Management Resources has an exciting opportunity to be part of our client's team as a Finance Manger / Integrations, on a long term contract basis. The role is 100% remote. This Finance Manager will be the key analytic resource supporting budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial analysis/modelling and business case development to help the business achieve its goals. In the context of a significant acquisition, the focus of this role is to help manage the financial plan on a large technology integration project and provide review and analysis of all charges related to the transition services agreement.

The essential duties / core responsibilities of the position include the following with others to be assigned:

• Manages the financial planning & analysis process for the technology integration project including preparation of financial plans, periodic forecasts, and monthly variance analysis of actuals compared to plan and forecasts

• Participates in monthly closing process and provides analytical insight into budget variances and operational performance.

• Reviews and analyzes all invoicing related to the transition services agreement

• Completes financial analysis assignments, determines approach, and develops and evaluates assumptions regarding financial and operational variables to provide recommendations to senior management

• Utilizes financial and operational systems to retrieve and analyze data, perform research and interprets findings that have financial impact, and draws appropriate conclusions to support business decisions.

• Reviews and approves procedures and processes to ensure integrity of financial data in analyses and reports.

• Conducts regular financial reviews with business partners to communicate financial performance and key business issues and provides valuable insight to help business achieve financial goals.

• Provides ad-hoc analyses to support decision making and propose recommendations

• Responsible for identification, investigation and resolution of complex financial problems requiring technical expertise.

• Provides quality customer service to clients as well as ensures promotion of service-oriented approach.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required paired with more advanced financial training - CPA, CMA, or MBA.

A minimum of 5-7 years progressive accounting or finance experience.

Advanced level Microsoft Office Suite skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
