Robert Half HR Generalist in Louisville, Kentucky

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist role in our team based in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is key to our operations, largely revolving around recruitment activities, administration of payroll/HRIS data entry, and delivering exceptional service to our team members. You will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as supporting team members through detailed understanding of the employer-sponsored benefit plans.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out recruitment activities including advertisement, candidate contact, and onboarding activities

• Manage pre-employment needs such as drug screenings, physicals, and background/MVR checks for new hires

• Assist with the administration of payroll/HRIS data entry to ensure proper processing of required documents

• Deliver exceptional service to colleagues in Team Member Services in a variety of administrative duties including but not limited to employment verifications, file set-up and maintenance, HR policy guidance, and data management and analysis

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including FMLA, Affirmative Action, ADA, EEO laws, I-9, and E-Verify process

• Support team members through detailed understanding and in-depth working knowledge of all the employer-sponsored benefit plans

• Assist team members and managers by fielding and answering benefit related questions in a timely manner by walk-in, phone, email or text

• Resolve issues related to both employer provided and elective benefits

• Provide support with company provided tools that include broadcast messaging systems, assignment and administration of vehicle/phone stipends as well as company cell phones and facility access key fobs. Requirements • Must possess 5 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist

• Proficient in handling Benefit Functions

• Experience in Compensation Administration is required

• Knowledge and understanding of Compliance in HR practices

• Strong skills in managing Employee Relations

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability to handle confidential information

• Proficient in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities

• Knowledge of current employment laws and regulations.
