Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky, 40202-2025, United States. This role is crucial in our team, specializing in processing billing and maintaining accurate records for our medical services. Your expertise in Accounting Software Systems, EHR SYSTEM, IBM AS/400, Medisoft, Microsoft Excel, and more will be highly valuable.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and EHR SYSTEM for efficient and precise medical billing operations.
• Handle and resolve claim administration and appeals in a timely manner.
• Proficiently employ IBM AS/400 and Medisoft for maintaining and updating billing records.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for tracking and documenting accounts receivable.
• Execute billing functions and collection processes accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize your skills in Epic Software to streamline and automate billing processes.
• Oversee and manage the administration of patient claims.
• Ensure adherence to billing regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain optimal billing operations.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to billing and accounts receivable. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM is necessary.
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 is desirable.
• Proficient in Medisoft.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Experience with Appeals is desirable.
• Familiarity with Billing Functions is necessary.
• Proficiency in Claim Administration is required.
• Knowledge of Collection Processes is desirable.
• Experience with Epic Software is a must.
