Description
Position: Payroll Specialist
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
Location: Louisville, KY (On-site)
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our client's team at a longstanding industrial design and construction business. This role will be crucial in managing payroll operations for our diverse workforce, encompassing hourly employees across various departments.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll for hourly employees
Manage certified payroll processes
Ensure accurate calculation and remittance of payroll taxes.
Process expense reports in a timely manner.
Assist with other accounting duties as required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in processing payroll, preferably in a multi-state environment
Familiarity with payroll systems such as Sage, Concur, Paycom.
Experience with ADP is a plus; training will commence November 1st for ADP implementation on January 1, 2025.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
