Daily office tasks will consist of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Produce and manage forecasting reports
Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support
Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks
Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations
Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations
Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations
Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes Requirements - Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience a plus)
Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Proven knowledge of financial modeling
Forecasting & modeling experience highly desired
Proficiency in budget forecasting
Budgeting experience required
Solid understanding of financial analysis
Foundational knowledge in forecasting
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
