Our reputable client is seeking a FP& A Manager to join the company. The ideal candidate will have deep analytical capabilities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once. Your responsibilities in this role
Contribute to financial deliverables for the executive team
Work in cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues
Develop operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle
Complete financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions
Enable strategic and day-to-day decisions through financial analysis
Provide financial analysis support for the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes
Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
Manage the development of short- and long-term financial forecasts and financial analysis
Prepare data mining tools and financial models for variance analysis
Manage staff by recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
Supervise and oversee the operations of the financial planning team
Test budget and fiscal assumptions in the creation of operating plans
Aid in regulatory filings
Requirements - 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience
The ideal candidate should be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
Strong quantitative and qualitative abilities
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
Must have superb interpersonal and influencing skills
8+ years of experience in FP& A required
Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
Strong business acumen required
Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
