Description

Branch Manager- Lubbock, TX

To direct the operations of a medium sized, remote credit union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans, while complying with credit union and government regulations.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Trains, directs, develops, motivates, and evaluates performance within the branch; recommends promotions, transfers and salary adjustments; identifies performance problems and takes action to correct, including recommendation for termination. Monitors all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.

Enforces government regulations regarding CTRs, SARs; has a working knowledge of the BSA, OFAC/FINCen, and Red Flag alert policies.

Follow up and training of branch personnel.

Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organization(s), suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups.

Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings.

Performs other related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements:

  1. To insure that the branch is providing friendly, detail oriented, personal service to all members.

    1. To maintain a highly experience in staff, sufficient to meet the daily demands of the credit union's members.

    2. To maintain/improve the financial stability of the branch and meet the branch growth plan.

  2. To maintain and monitor compliance with all credit union regulations regarding BSA, OFAC, FinCen, CIP, and AML.

    1. To keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the branch.
  3. To complete performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.

Requirements

1+ years of related experience.

A high school education or GED.

Must have good communication skills. Able to operate a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard.
