Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Luray, Virginia

Description We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for a short term contract employment opportunity in Luray, Virginia. This role is within the telecom industry and will require a high level of organization and attention to detail. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from verifying client information in compliance with loan applications to maintaining customer relationships by handling questions and concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Verify client information in compliance with loan applications

• Follow established procedures and processes for funding of various loans

• Perform maintenance of spreadsheets, general ledgers, and various transactions to ensure funding of client’s accounts

• Execute ongoing compliance monitoring reviews in accordance with established procedures, rules, and regulations

• Support compliance management during regulatory exams and execution of new/existing platforms and systems

• Maintain a solid customer relationship by handling questions and concerns

• Resolve customer complaints, manage database records, and draft status reports on customer service issues

• Conduct data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer problems

• Perform various administrative tasks such as collecting mail, sorting, and sending to appropriate destination

• Process transactions and returns, compile data, and generate and complete reports for clients and accounts

• Partner with branch employees to create, send, and maintain records of Cashier Checks for clients

• Generate and maintain records of transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring legal requirements compliance Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Experience in managing inbound and outbound calls

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Experience in email correspondence and managing professional communication

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
